My daddy-doo-da died July 29th... Sunday at 3:15, the time Jesus was crucified mom and I discovered! And just before KH came out! Way to ruin my week <@@> but papa's in a better place and he's definitely an active spirit, me and mom see him all over the house and he's even still trying to feed Whiskers... So I know he hasn't left and I'm just glad he's not in pain anymore. Even so, he is my best buddy and was the only person who comforted me when someone left and made me sad... Only he seemed to know what was simple enough to comfort me without lecturing.

What's there to say...

I have to plan Reckoner, I have to finish ninety collabs and thirty projects video-related, I have to write, I have to make a bank account so that I can buy a 3DS with money on Paypal....

And my goal of the year is to simply get Dream Drop Distance the day it comes out.

• What is your character's name? Does the character have a nickname?
- Full name: Claire Ann Neiz
- Nick: CAN
- Alias: Cait

• What is your character's hair color? Eye color?
- Hair color: Dirty blond to the point of brown, tiny teal strip on top
- Blue and green depending on light

• What kind of distinguishing facial features does your character have?
- Smile is clean and even, eyes are bright and noticeable. Nose has a small bump in the bridge, structured face lines.

• Does your character have a birthmark? Where is it? What about scars? How did he get them?
- Unseen scar on forehead from when she first brushed her teeth and ran from her grandparents into the living room and crashed into a table.
- White scar across under-forearm received from ripping it through an electric barb-wire fence while trying to play with a cow as a 10 year old.
- Tiny mole on back, hip, right forearm.

• Who are your character's friends and family? Who does she surround herself with? Who are the people your character is closest to? Who does he wish he were closest to?
- Family: Grandparents, Joe & Susan, age 59 / 60. One cat with them, Whiskers, orange tabby, has three black spots on his nose. Real parents  never mentioned.
- Friends: Very few friends, mostly on computer. Russell and JP share a residence with her, she is closest to either. She wishes to alone rather than closer to anyone.

• Where was your character born? Where has she lived since then? Where does she call home?
- California. Moved to Oregon, then Arizona, then re-arrived to live with her friends.
- Home: Rockaway Beach / Tillamook, Oregon

• Where does your character go when he's angry?
- Somewhere alone, bathroom, to computer.

• What is her biggest fear? Who has she told this to? Who would she never tell this to? Why?
- Rejection of others, failing, not being good enough.
- Will openly tell anyone.
- Would even tell a stranger.

• Does she have a secret?
- Keeps most of life a secret for most of the books. Doubts her powers so doesn't mention them until asked. Her real parent's status and an online relationship that failed is a thing of mystery to her friends and she refuses to explain why. Only tells Hayden.

• What makes your character laugh out loud?
- Friends, if not distracted.

• When has your character been in love? Had a broken heart?
- Before Book One began, had an online relationship with someone her own gender who was younger than her that betrayed her trust and broke her heart, making her feel rejected and not good enough. This creates turmoil for the character that is repaired very slowly throughout the story.

• What is in your character's refrigerator right now? On her bedroom floor? On her nightstand? In her garbage can?
- Fridge:  Anything that the others wanted to get was fine, she didn't really help choose.
- Bedroom floor: Books, papers half-drawn/half-written on. Video game cases.
- Nightstand: Books, bottle of water, eraser, nail file used for multiple things like scratching crumbs from between keyboard keys.
- Garbage can: Snack wrappers, a bottle, a paper.

• Look at your character's feet. Describe what you see there. Does he wear dress shoes, gym shoes, or none at all? Is he in socks that are ratty and full of holes? Or is he wearing a pair of blue and gold slippers knitted by his grandmother?
- Either bare feet, extra long for a female (size 11) with slightly unevenly torn toenails or black and white sneakers with white laces.

• When your character thinks of her childhood kitchen, what smell does she associate with it? Sauerkraut? Oatmeal cookies? Paint? Why is that smell so resonant for her?


• Your character is doing intense spring cleaning. What is easy for her to throw out? What is difficult for her to part with? Why?
- Easy: Trash, old memories, things with old dates on them.
- Hard: Anything, is a bit obsessive compulsive and paranoid, wants to keep all drafts of art and writing as well as anything else she's collected of worth.

• It's Saturday at noon. What is your character doing? Give details. If he's eating breakfast, what exactly does he eat? If she's stretching out in her backyard to sun, what kind of blanket or towel does she lie on?
- Drinks some soda with a sausage and egg croissant. Sitting on bed with computer in front of her.

• What is one strong memory that has stuck with your character from childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting?
- When her grandfather left her as a child, returning months later only to leave again.

• Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where is she going? What does she wear? Who will she be with?
- A church outing or restaurant with large group so she won't be noticed. Friends. Wears same casual clothes as always, makes no effort to look differently.
